OrthoLine™ Fracture Management System

The OrthoLine fracture management system allows the surgeon to perform a fracture repair using screws compatible with the Arthrex TPLO system. The expansive, state-of-the-art straight, T-style, and anatomic plate fracture line includes sizes 1.6 mm, 1.6 mm broad, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5 mm, and 3.5 mm broad plating options are available for both feline and canine patients.

A variety of screw options are available for the system, including fully threaded headless compression screws, partially threaded screws, cannulated lag screws, low-profile screws, and QuickFix™ cannulated screws.

The OrthoLine™ fracture reduction system simplifies bone fracture relocation or transfer stability and aligns with the OrthoLine fracture management system. The strong, lightweight, carbon fiber, radiolucent lobster claw allows imaging-guided fracture reduction procedures that do not require removing clamps. The reduction forceps with guidewire holds a small bone in apposition during a fracture reduction. The clamp can help with insertion of cannulated screw guidewires.

The Low Profile System (LPS), a complete screw and instrument set. The LPS 2 mm, 2.3 mm, 3 mm Screw Set includes the 2 mm and 3 mm QuickFix "snap off" screws, the 2.3 mm cannulated, and solid screws along with the new 3 mm cannulated partially threaded screws. The OrthoLine ilial fracture plate system includes sizes of 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and an additional long 3.5 mm plate for larger dogs. Each plate size is anatomically contoured to mimic the anatomy of patients within a given size range. The plate includes cranial divergent screw trajectories to improve purchase in the cranial ilium. The caudal screw trajectories are more dorsally oriented to help diverge away from the coxofemoral joint. Additionally, the ilial plate includes a suture hole paired with Arthrex VetSuture for apposition of the gluteal musculature at closure.

OrthoLine™ Radial Fracture System
The Arthrex OrthoLine™ radial fracture plate system includes 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.5 mm sizes. Each plate is anatomically contoured to mimic the anatomy of patients within a given size range. The system is designed with multiplanar distal screw trajectories and proximal screws centrally aligned within the bone to improve screw pullout. The plates are thinner than a standard T-plate or straight plate, providing less soft tissue interference. The tubular bottom enables better conformity to the patient’s bone structure and increases the area moment of inertia. This unique design also includes a fracture-spanning bridge with a compression screw hole providing compression across the fracture site, bending plugs, and several k-wire holes to assist in preliminary placement. The plates are designed for a cranial-medial placement, but a cranial-lateral placement can be used with the contralateral side plate.
