TPLO Disposables and Limited Reusables

Kirschner wires, or K-wires, are used for temporary fixation during some orthopedic operations. After definitive fixation, they should be removed.

Use K-wires to:

Help rotate the proximal bone fragment
Hold the rotated proximal bone fragment in place during the TPLO procedure
Secure jig pin to the bone
Hold the TPLO plate during placement
