Synergy Vision™ System

The SynergyID system enables surgeons to perform minimally invasive surgery using standard endoscope visible light as well as visualization of vessels, blood flow and related tissue perfusion, and at least one of the major extrahepatic bile ducts (cystic duct, common bile duct, or common hepatic duct) using nearinfrared imaging. Fluorescence imaging of biliary ducts with the SynergyID system is intended for use with standard-of-care white light and, when applicable, intraoperative cholangiography.

Autoclavable arthroscopes are designed and optimized for the SynergyUHD4™ camera system to provide superb image quality as well as robust durability. This unique cannula system allows precise one-step placement of the first cannula by inserting a cannulated obturator directly over the initial guide needle. Beveled changing rods allow easy portal dilation and switching to 2 larger cannula sizes. This tray also includes a push knife and 4 probes.
 
The hand instrument tray secures a Series I grasper and slender punch in an upright position for accessibility and sterility. The tray also has space for additional hand instruments. Arthrex offers a lifetime guarantee on materials and workmanship on every Series I instrument.
 
The compact, lightweight, expandable, anodized aluminum autoclave case holds the instruments securely in slotted, laser-labeled silicone pads for proper protection and easy identification during use and repacking.

Canine Arthroscopy Set

Gain easier access to hard-to-reach chondral surface defects with microfracture picks. Sharp, durable points enable repeated precision control, and the gold-coated tips provide a frame of reference for depth. The extremely durable handles stand up to repeated malleting when used to promote fibrotic response on chondral surfaces.

Chondral Picks

Ring and cup curettes and small joint osteotomes are ideal for bone removal in both open and arthroscopic procedures. The curettes have long shafts to allow for deeper access within the joint, and the osteotomes have ergonomic and durable handles to allow for repeated malleting.

Graspers are available in 2.75 mm, 3.4 mm, and 4.2 mm shafts. Made with nonratcheting handles, Series 1 NR graspers are nonlocking and feature a self-releasing locking mechanism. All WishBone™ graspers feature a ratcheting lock mechanism that can be disengaged for nonlocking operation.

Constructed by expert craftsmen with the finest materials, Synergy sheaths are designed for Arthrex scopes and available in numerous sizes, lengths, and configurations to accommodate any arthroscopic need. The high-flow tapered and fenestrated sheaths work with 30° scopes. To reduce cartilage gouging, the tapered sheaths hug the tip of the scope, and the fenestrations are recessed to minimize tissue collection. Featuring a lightweight handle, the obturators help increase efficiency during the sheath insertion and minimize the proximal weight of the sheath system. Every sheath is available with a single or double stopcock, which are rotatable and modular for each sheath system.

SynergyUHD4™&nbsp;and SynergyID™&nbsp;camera heads provide true 4K or HD resolution. Our 4K camera heads equate to 4 times the resolution and 64 times the color depth (10-bit) compared to HD. The 4K picture increases depth perception and leads to a more precise color reproduction. All our camera heads come in a Titanium housing, which is hermetically sealed, and carry the industry-leading standard 7-year warranty on autoclaving. While maintaining a comfortable and ergonomic design, Synergy camera heads are available in different versions to fit exact needs. The Synergy Insufflator System has a volumetric flow rate of 50L to quickly fill the abdomen. The intuitive touch screen interface allows for quick and easy adjustment to the system. Pressure and volumetric flow rate can be adjusted based on preference between high flow and bariatric mode.
 
“The heads-up display” allows for easy visibility of system settings on the monitor. The system features a venting system, contamination alarm and integrated gas heating.

Insufflator System

Arthrex revolutionized the 3.0 mm, 5.5 mm, and 10 mm laparoscopes by redesigning the optics to increase the clarity and resolution for the SynergyUHD4™ ultra HD 4K system. All laparoscopes are fully autoclavable and offer superior image quality in addition to enhanced depth of field, brightness, field of flatness, and contrast. The distal, scratch-resistant sapphire lens and laser welding process ensure durability. Laparoscopes are offered in 5.5 mm and 10 mm sizes in various lengths to accommodate every endoscopic need. The Continuous Wave 4 arthroscopy pump offers technical innovations that maintain precise joint distention with independent adjustment of inline pressure and flow levels. New digital technology eliminates pulsing inflow and the autoclavable remote has an added flush button feature.
 
Advantages of the Continuous Wave 4 arthroscopy pump include a new and improved advanced fluid drive system that maintains distention even during aggressive shaver suction and cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) procedures. When used with the SynergyResection™ system, the shaver boost feature can be used to combat distention loss with even large-sized shavers and burrs. Fluid turbulence has been virtually eliminated with a new smooth transition from start to stop, maintaining a stable fluid environment with safe pressure. Advanced features of the Continuous Wave 4 include lavage that allows the pump to provide hemostasis at the touch of a button, shaver detection for smart fluid control during high fluid flow while shaving and burring, improved noise-dampening system for quiet operation, and the ability to display pressure, flow rate, and other special modes of operation on the monitor when used with SynergyUHD4™ video system. All of these features come together to provide surgeons and the OR staff with a truly unique and reliable fluid management system.

Continuous Wave™ 4 Arthroscopy Pump

The DualWave arthroscopy pump is an integrated inflow and outflow fluid management system that may also be used as a simple inflow-only arthroscopy pump. The DualWave arthroscopy pump is a reliable and user-friendly system that maintains constant, non-pulsed control of intraarticular rinsing and distention pressure throughout all phases of an arthroscopic surgical procedure. It is intended to provide continuous pulse-free flow that reacts immediately to changes in the intraarticular pressure so that joint distention can be sustained even under high shaver extraction volumes or secondary outflow. The user-defined settings for inflow pressure and outflow rates are adjustable through controls located on the touch panel screen or on the remote control.

DualWave™ Arthroscopy Pump

Main Pump Tubing
This tubing set is for those who prefer a complete tubing set and want to replace the fluid bags after each case. Each tube set comes with an independently packaged press-fit luer lock to allow for tubing length adjustment if used in conjunction with the Extension Tubing. If used alone, the set must be discarded after each use.
 
Extension Tubing
This unique tubing provides an economical option to reduce tubing costs by allowing the Main Pump Tubing to remain in use for the entire surgical day. The exclusive backflow valve prevents contaminated fluid from reaching the Main Pump Tubing. The Main Pump Tubing and fluid bags no longer need to be discarded after each surgical case.
 
Y-Tubing Adapter
The optional Y-Tubing Adapter allows for fluid bags to be attached to either the Main Pump Tubing or the ReDeuce™ Pump Tubing, resulting in fewer fluid bag changes.

Imaging Consoles

Monitors

The UHD 4K medical display complements the revolutionary SynergyUHD4™&nbsp;console. Offered at 32 inches to maximize the quality of the image, the UHD 4K monitor's settings are calibrated for optimal performance with the SynergyUHD4&nbsp;imaging platform across all surgical specialties.
 
Arthrex also provides alternative privately labeled backlit LED monitors that are excellent displays at an affordable price. The monitor has an aluminum enclosure to help protect it against repeated adjustments and cleanings. Numerous Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) mounting holes ensure mounting capability. Arthrex California Technology engineers have full access to the settings of the privately labeled monitors to optimize the SynergyUHD4&nbsp;camera system. The monitors are available in 26-inch and 32-inch sizes.

Featuring a lighter, sleeker design, the Synergy video cart also has a smaller footprint than its predecessor to recapture valuable OR real estate.
 
For quick and easy setup, the cart is shipped with modular shelves preinstalled where component placement is recommended. The power cords are prewired, and cable management can be accomplished on either side of the cart. Large wheels provide easy OR mobility, as do the handles on each side of the cart. The boom arm on the main monitor allows 20 inches of reach and 12 inches of vertical adjustment. Arm tension is adjustable to hold 27-inch to 32-inch monitors. An easy-access handle and locking position facilitate cart movement, and the secondary arm is mounted in the middle of the shelf for ease of use by the OR staff.

The TRIMANO FORTIS®&nbsp;support arm acts as an additional surgical assistant by securely and safely holding the patient’s arm in any desired position during arthroscopic or open elbow surgery. The compact and lightweight device is easily attached to any OR table rail and is ready for immediate use. The patient’s arm can be moved in any direction by simply pressing the handle. Releasing the handle locks it into the desired position.

Imaging Systems

Synergy light guides are designed for longevity and durability. The dual-fused bundle increases the light emission and durability of the light fibers. The ergonomic Teflon handle provides added strain relief to increase durability and ease cable removal from the light source. Synergy light guides have a parylene coating to help protect them from gathering dust and debris. Light guides for visible light imaging come in 3.5 mm and 5 mm bundle sizes, a standard length of 274 cm (9 ft), and an extended length of 408 cm (13.4 ft). Gray light guides with a 90° distal end are available to provide ergonomic handling when operating the system with one hand.

The Arthrex DrillSaw Max 600 system has a modular design, consisting of a handpiece drive and various accessories for machining bones. DrillSaw Max 600™ System

The DrillSaw Mini 300 System is a modular design consisting of a handpiece drive and various accessories for machining bones. The single handpiece and attachments provide drilling, reaming, burring, sagittal sawing, and reciprocal sawing and burring capabilities. The lightweight, cord-free PEEK handpiece is the only device of its kind on the market, and it can be used for osteotomies, small bone operations, and small joint surgeries. The new shaft coating facilitates easy insertion through both working cannulas and subcutaneous tissue. CoolCut™ Blades

Arthrex offers a variety of arthroscopic burrs that provide many options for resecting bone. FlushCut™ burrs are designed to keep cutting flutes flush with the shaft's outer diameter, facilitating the “cutting block” technique. Award-winning ClearCut burrs have the same flush cutting capabilities but feature a clear hood to help protect surrounding tissues while providing maximum visibility during use.

CoolCut™ Burrs

The Torpedo™ shaver's tapered tip leads the way, easing access into and around the joint space. The oval outer window limits tissue size to reduce clogging while the precision cutting edges with dual inner cutting windows resect tissue cleanly and aggressively.
 
Perform microfracture procedures quickly and easily using the PowerPick™ instrument with the SynergyResection™ system. With a drill depth of 4 mm, the PowerPick instrument is an ideal tool for measuring osteochondral defects using the leading edge of the laser mark, which is 5 mm from the sheath end, as a guide.
 
Featuring a reciprocating motion as opposed to the standard, rotary motion of other burrs, the PoweRasp™ instrument is a revolutionary method of arthroscopic bone debridement. The PoweRasp instrument creates a smooth, flat surface compared to the curved surface a burr leaves behind, without scalloped edges that must be smoothed over later. Feel the power, speed, and control of the next generation in bone debridement with the PoweRasp instrument.

CoolCut™ Resection Shavers

The SynergyResection shaver console is used for the resection and aspiration of soft tissue, cartilage, and bone during arthroscopic surgical procedures. With functionality based on the Adapteur Power System™ II platform, the shaver console features the sleek Synergy design and has been upgraded with the latest electronic hardware, including a large touch-screen display that provides a number of user improvements.
 
The new console can control two handpieces, either individually or simultaneously and independently of one another. Full functional control is at your fingertips, and the touchscreen display prioritizes visualization of speed and directional modes.

Synergy Resection Shaver

The 2.8 mm diameter Nano suction punch instruments are sterile packed with an autoclavable Radel handle. An eDFU with cleaning and sterilization instructions allows limited reusability. The instrument body can be connected to suction tubing and regulated to titrate suction and aspirate tissue without clogging.&nbsp; These instruments are available in 70 mm and 130 mm lengths with 3 different cutting tips that can be configured 360° to adjust the cutting window for aspiration from any direction. Nano suction punches are effective in trimming soft tissue, yet strong enough to cut bone spurs, osteophytes, and bone fragments. The SynergyUHD4 system is a commanding imaging platform offered by Arthrex that features a true Ultra HD 4K programmable camera head, an LED “xenon-bright” light source, an image management system, and fiber optic video over IP integration all in one tablet-controlled device.&nbsp;
Imaging Consoles
The SynergyUHD4 system integrates 3 consoles into 1 and revolutionizes endoscopic visualization and image management. One console and one unique tablet interface simplifies use. Programmable individual surgeon preferences enhance the user experience and increase efficiency. The network-based system allows live video streaming from any authorized remote viewer, integration with EMR/PACS, and remote connection from Arthrex representatives for maintenance/upgrades.
SynergyUHD4 Tablets
The unique and innovative remote tablet interface allows users to remotely and efficiently enter patient information, surgeon preferences, and image management settings only one time. The user-friendly SynergyUHD4 tablet application is intuitive, and will help reduce cost by increasing OR efficiency.
Monitors
To complement the revolutionary SynergyUHD4 console, Arthrex introduces the world's first UHD 4K medical display. The UHD 4K monitor is offered at 32" to maximize the quality of the image. The monitor's settings are calibrated for optimal performance with the SynergyUHD4 imaging platform across all surgical specialties.
Arthrex also provides alternative privately labeled backlit LED monitors that are excellent displays at an affordable price. The monitor have an aluminum enclosure to help protect the monitor against repeated adjustments and cleanings. Numerous VESA-standard mounting holes ensure mounting capability. Arthrex California Technology engineers have full access to the settings of the privately labeled monitors to ensure optimization of the SynergyUHD4 camera system. The monitors are available in 26" and 32" sizes
Video Cart Options
The video cart features a modular shelf design to conform to any set-up need. The power cords are prewired and cable management is accomplished on either side of the cart. The large wheels provide easy OR mobility, as do the handles the front and rear of the cart. The main monitor boom arm permits 38” of reach and 15” of vertical adjustment. The tension of the arm is adjustable to hold 19-32” monitors and it also features a handle and locking position during movement of the cart. The secondary arm can be mounted to either side of the top shelf, allowing customization to fit the OR staff’s needs. The CO2 gas bottle holder or foot pedal holder can be mounted to either side of the cart. The newest released carts feature a top shelf that holds the Sony UPDR80MD printer that faces the rear of the cart. This allows staff to access prints away from the sterile field. The AR-6000B includes the cart with transformer, five shelves, one drawer, one foot pedal holder, one secondary arm, and the main monitor boom arm.
TRIMANO®*&nbsp;Support Arm
The TRIMANO support arm acts as an additional surgical assistant by securely and safely holding the arm in any desired position during arthroscopic or open shoulder surgery performed in the beach chair position. The compact and lightweight device is easily attached to any OR table Clark rail and is ready for immediate use. No additional power or air connections are required. The TRIMANO arm can be moved in any direction by simply pressing the handle. Releasing the handle locks it into the desired position.
Positioning Arm
The Arthrex Positioning arm is articulated arm and has a universal radial clamp to assist filming of open surgical procedures. The arm is easy to position and can be fixed securely and rapidly with a single knob. The purely mechanical central tightening device enables simple and fast positioning of the camera head. Once the position has been set, it remains firmly fixed throughout the operation. The arm and radial clamp are fully autoclavable.
